Privacy policy

Konnet ia LLC ("Konnet") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we process through the konnet.ai website and the Konnet platform (Konnet Flow and Konnet Core), for what purpose, and what rights you have, in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.

1. What data we process

Site visitors: contact details you voluntarily share with us when you write to us (for example, when starting a WhatsApp conversation from the site) and basic technical browsing data.

Platform customers: user account data (name, corporate email, role) and the data each client company connects or uploads to operate its flows and dashboards. For the latter, the client company is the data controller and Konnet processes the data on its behalf.

2. How we use it

To answer your inquiries and coordinate demos; to provide, operate, and improve the contracted services; and for security, fraud prevention, and compliance with legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.

3. Artificial intelligence and data

The platform uses AI models to generate responses and proposals. Personal data is excluded from technical logs and is filtered out (removed) when information is shared with third parties; AI proposals go through human approval before being published.

4. Google user data

When a user connects their Google account (for example, Google Calendar) to the Konnet platform, Konnet accesses only the data required for the features the user enabled. For Google Calendar: checking availability (busy time blocks only, without event details), creating appointments on the calendar the user selected, and rescheduling them when needed.

Access tokens are stored encrypted and are used only by that user's connection. No other user in the company can read the connected calendar. Users can revoke access at any time from Konnet or from their Google account.

Konnet's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is not used for advertising, is not read by humans except with the user's consent or for security and legal purposes, and is not used to train generalized AI or machine learning models.

Some data, such as appointments at a medical or dental practice, may include health data. Konnet treats it as sensitive data, with access restricted to the user who connected the account.

5. How we protect it

We apply strict per-company isolation (multi-tenant), credential encryption, least-privilege access control, and audit logging of sensitive operations. Our architecture is designed following ISO 27001, 27701, and 27018 guidelines.

6. Who we share it with

With providers we need in order to deliver the service (cloud infrastructure, messaging platforms such as Meta's WhatsApp Business, AI model providers), under agreements that limit the use of the data to providing the service. We do not authorize AI providers to train their models on our customers' data.

7. Retention

We keep data for as long as the relationship justifying its processing exists and for the applicable legal periods. When the service ends, the customer's data is returned or deleted as agreed.

8. Your rights

You may request access, rectification, updating, deletion, or objection to the processing of your personal data by writing to us at soporte@konnet.app. You can also reach us on WhatsApp at +593 97 933 1916. We will handle your request within the timeframes established by applicable regulations.

9. Changes to this policy

We will publish any update to this policy on this page, indicating its effective date.
